In 2014, it will be 150 years ago that Nicolaus August Otto and Eugen Langen, on march 31st 1864, signed the deed of establishment for N.A. Otto & Cie. This marked the start of the first engine factory in the world. N.A. Otto & Cie later became Otto & Langen, then Otto Roosen & Langen, and finally “Gasmotorenfabrik Deutz”.
We think the anniversary of this momentous event should not go unnoticed, so we decided that the theme for Nuenen 2014 will be “Deutz engines”
If you are planning to come to Nuenen as an exhibitor, and you have any Deutz engines in your collection, we would be very happy if you would bring them to Nuenen.
It is needless to say that all other makes of engines are, as always, also very welcome!!!
