We are very pleased to be able to announce that the 1860 Lenoir engine from the Deutz Technikum will be running at the 25th anniversary Nuenen engine rally!

This will be an absolute unique event, this Lenoir being the only running example of 7 Lenoir engines in existence worldwide.

This makes it, without a doubt, the oldest internal combustion engine ever at an engine rally.

Furthermore, the Lenoir is part of the Deutz collection, and therefore protected industrial heritage. Engines from this core collection have never been, and most probably will never be again, showed outside the Deutz museum.

The line-up of very special engines on show at Nuenen this year gets a very nice addition with this engine, and makes it even more worth your visit on May 18, 19 and 20(if there were any doubts left…)
