We are pleased to announce that we have found a new location for the International Stationary Engine Rally.
From now on, our show will take place in the village of Haler, in the municipality of Leudal, central Limburg. (about 40 Km. south of Nuenen)
The event site is located next to Isidoorstraat 16, and the parking lot is across the road.
We have reached an agreement with the relevant landowners and other parties involved and are confident that a pleasant collaboration will develop with, among others, the organizers of another great event that already takes place there annually, the Haler TT. https://www.ttdemohaler.nl/
The location is comparable in size and accessibility to the one in Nuenen, although the parking lot for participants and visitors will now be across the road. A nice bonus is that there’s a community center nearby, with a terrace where you can enjoy a bite to eat and a drink. But Of course, the familiar facilities will also remain on site. The caterer and the owner of the chip van have already let us know that they’d like to move with us to Haler.
The only remaining issue is the permit from the municipality of Leudal. The application is currently being prepared, and we are optimistic about its further progress. As soon as more information is available, we will of course let you know immediately. In the meantime, we will continue to update our website, posters, T-shirts, etc., so new content will appear regularly on our website and Facebook page.
We are convinced we have found a worthy alternative! A new location always takes some getting used to, of course, but together we will undoubtedly make it another unforgettable edition of “Nuenen,” or from now on, “Haler.”
